Special orders undertaken for individual cards, small or large stationery orders for change of address, new baby announcements, correspondence cards, party invitations for private or company events etc.  All cards and stationery are beautifully hand-crafted with care and attention to detail in a selection of elegant designs.

A selection of unusual stationery sets and gifts are usually available, together with gift bags, tags, wrap etc.

A gift wrapping service is available for gifts purchased in the shop, or from other units within the Art & Craft Centre. Please call in to discuss your requirements.

Getting Married? Civil Partnership Ceremony?

Have your stationery hand-crafted to suit your wedding theme. Variety of traditional and modern designs available. Favours, gift boxes, confetti and bows also available. Contact us for an appointment to discuss requirements for your special day.

It is advisable to order your stationery in good time, however, short-notice orders will be considered whenever possible.

Poppies Café

Also in Unit 4 with Nipped in the Bud Stationery is Poppies Café. Here you can enjoy a refreshing cup of Tea, Coffee, Cappuccino, Latte, Hot Chocolate or Soup. We also have a wide selection of Fruit Teas and cold drinks and a tempting array of cakes, biscuits and snacks.

Do you meet a small group of friends regularly? Why not meet at the Café?

Bookings (max 8) accepted by appointment. Evening bookings by prior arrangement.

Opening Times

Tuesday 1.30-4pm, Wednesday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sundays 10.30am-4pm.

Closed Mondays (open Bank Holidays)

We endeavour to open on all the above days and times, however very occasionally it may be necessary to close due to unforeseen circumstances.

If you are making a special or long journey, please check beforehand that we will be open.
